Purpose. To provide guidance to attend the NARC&DC’s National Conference June 14-17, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2009.

Explanation. 

The NARC&DC will host the 2009 National Conference June 14-17, 2009 at the Albuquerque Convention Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico. RC&D Coordinators are authorized to attend. The Authorization Request and travel arrangements must be made thru GovTrip no later than May 29, 2009. You will need to assign an accounting code for program charges. The RC&D Accounting Code is 91. Be sure to use the FY09 prefix when assigning the accounting code in GovTrip.

The convention center hotels no longer have rooms available. NHQ has provided the following alternative hotel located approximately 2.5 miles from the convention center. This hotel has a block of government rate rooms set aside.

The Government room rate for Albuquerque is $80.00, plus tax.

A registration form for the conference is attached to this bulletin. Coordinators will need to complete the registration form and return to Mark Rose, ASTC Programs, no later than COB Friday May 8. The Maryland NRCS State Office will pay for the Basic Registration and the Coordinator’s Breakfast. You will be responsible for any Social Event/Meal Tickets and will need to pay NARC&DC directly. These are not reimbursable items. When you complete your reimbursement voucher you will need to deduct the breakfast charge in GovTrip for Tuesday only.
