MD.360.9.6, PER - Policy on Time Limits for Using Earned Compensatory Time OffMaryland Bulletin: 360-9-6 Purpose. To provide employees with information on NRCS policy for earned Compensatory Time usage. Expiration Date. September 30, 2009. Explanation. The purpose of this Bulletin is to ensure that NRCS Maryland employees are aware of the NRCS policy regarding time limits for usage of earned compensatory time. In an effort to consolidate policies government wide, time limits for using earned compensatory time off is standardized for both employees covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA Non Exempt) under Title 5 and employees not covered by FLSA (FLSA Exempt). Employees must use accured compensatory time off by the end of the 26th pay period after the pay period during which it was earned. These changes became effective May, 2007.
