Purpose. To inform employees of how to charge time for March 2, 2009

Expiration Date. September 30, 2009.

Explanation.

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform you of how you are to record your time and attendance for Monday, March 2, 2009. Due to the winter storm weather and hazardous driving conditions, the state headquarters office and some service center locations declared office closures for the day. If you did not report to work due to an office closure, you are to charge administrative leave for Monday, March 2, 2009.

Any offices that are located in the Washington, DC commuting area in Maryland that include Montgomery and Prince George's counties were open under a delayed arrival/unscheduled leave policy. If you were delayed in reporting to work to ensure a safe arrival, you are eligible to charge the first two hours as unscheduled leave. If you were not able to report to work at all, you are eligible to charge unscheduled leave for the day.
