Purpose. To provide guidance for completion of Annual Ethics Training

Expiration Date. September 30, 2009.

Action Required By: November 21, 2008

Explanation.

According to 5 CFR Part 2638.705, employees required to file the Office of Government Ethics Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE Form 450) must also complete annual ethics training by November 21, 2008. Please add three (3) ethics courses to your Aglearn "Learning Plan" utilizing instructions in Attachment A. All courses, including the survey at the end of the module, must be completed by close of business Friday, November 21, 2008.

Instructions for Ethics Training on Aglearn

Below are the step-by-step directions to complete training at Aglearn.

1. Sign into your AgLearn account at www.aglearn.usda.gov or through my.nrcs.
2. Click on the "Catalog" at the top of your screen;
3. Insert "Ethics:" in the search box (the colon makes a difference);
4. Select an Ethics training module by clicking on the button "Add to Learning Plan" on the right hand side of your screen;
5. Repeat this process a total of 3 times (one for each module);
6. In order to receive credit, you must complete the survey at the end of each module.
