Explanation.

The Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2002 and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum M-06-16 require all Federal employees, contractors, partners and volunteers, with access to government information systems, complete the following two (2) courses to maintain computer access. Both should appear in your AgLearn, www.aglearn.usda.gov, "Learning Plan".

  • Web based USDA-CYBERSECURITY-FY09 (Rev 8/1/2008 6:55 PM America/New York)
  • Web based USDA-TwoFactorAuthEndUsers-01 (Rev 1 - 5/13/2009 12:00 AM America/New York)

Please follow the instructions in the "Introduction" of each course. You are required to complete assessments. Once the course is complete, you will find it in your AgLearn "Learning History".

If you have difficulty logging into AgLearn - the eAuthentication step - it's likely your password has expired and must be reset. If you created eAuthentication security questions, you can reset your password by clicking the "Forgot Your Password?" link to the right on the login screen.  Otherwise, you must contact the ITS Service Desk at eAuthHelpDesk@ftc.usda.gov or call (800) 457-3642.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Linda Elben-Adams (443-482-2936; linda.adams@md.usda.gov).
