Subject: EOP - Federal Women's Program SEPM Vacancy

Purpose. To fill Federal Women’s Special Emphasis Program Manager collateral duty position on the Maryland Civil Rights Advisory Committee.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2009.

Action Required By: February 27, 2009

Explanation.

The Maryland Civil Rights Advisory Committee is recruiting to fill the Federal Women’s Special Emphasis Program Manager position. The term for this appointment starts in January of 2009. The Federal Women’s SEPM serves as a member of the Maryland Civil Rights Advisory Committee.

  • Only NRCS employees may serve as SEPMs.
  • All NRCS employees are encouraged to apply.
  • This is a collateral duty position, which means you volunteer to perform these duties in addition to your normal duties.
  • Membership terms are for three (3) years.
  • Committee members attend quarterly meetings and promote/contribute to Committee activities.
  • SEPMs are expected to devote up to 20% of their time to SEPM duties.
  • The State Conservationist makes the final selection for the Committee.
