Subject: PGM - Conservation Program Contract Review and Payment Process

Purpose. To provide instructions for processing Conservation Program Contract payments

Expiration Date. September 30, 2008.

Explanation. 

Effective June 12, 2008 all claims for payments for EQIP, CSP, AMA and WHIP will be processed as follows:

• Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, Cecil, Kent, Howard, Montgomery Counties and the District of Columbia will submit a completed payment request package by fax, email or express mail to the Western Maryland RC&D office in Hagerstown. Sabrina Albright, Program Assistant, will be doing a second level review of the payment request. The designated conservationist in these counties is responsible for the first level of review before the payment request is submitted to Sabrina.
• Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Charles, Calvert, St. Mary’s, Talbot, Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester Counties will submit a completed payment request package by fax, email or express mail to the Eastern Shore RC&D office in Easton. Nancy Basil, Program Assistant, will be doing a second level review of the payment request. The designated conservationist in these counties is responsible for the first level of review before the payment request is submitted to Nancy.

Jeanette Pauli, Management Analyst at the State Office, will be processing the payment package and updating the EXCEL spread sheet on the share drive following the second level review. Laurie Blasky, Budget Analyst at the State Office will certify and make payment in FFIS.
