Subject: PDM - Mid-Atlantic RC&D Annual Meeting and Conference

Purpose. To provide guidance to RC&D Offices and NRCS staff on attendance to the Mid-Atlantic RC&D annual meeting and conference.

Action Required By: July 25, 2008

Explanation. 

The Mid Atlantic RC&D Annual Conference is being held in Clinton, New Jersey September 21 – 24, 2008. Lodging and registration information is attached with this bulletin. RC&D Coordinators are authorized to attend on government time and expense. Beginning July 7, 2008, a new Federal travel authorization process will take effect. Maryland State Bulletin 250-8-9 was issued on June 10 with specific actions needed for NRCS employees to access the new system.

RC&D Coordinators and other NRCS staff attending the meeting will need to request attendance through GovTrip beginning July 7. Requests to attend will be initiated no later than July 25 to be processed and approved. Please complete the registration form for the Mid Atlantic meeting and return to me at the state office no later than July 25. Registration for attendance will be processed through the state office.
