Purpose. To inform employees of upcoming 2008 Summer MASCD Meeting.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2008.

Explanation. 

The 2008 Summer Maryland Association of Conservation Districts (MASCD) meeting will be held at the Wisp Resort at McHenry, Maryland on July 15-17, 2008.

If you plan on staying overnight, you will need to submit Form FNM-035 to Tansel Hudson for approval no later than June 20, 2008 and he will forward to Laurie Blasky so that a separate travel authorization can be done for actual subsistence for lodging, since it is over per diem.

We would like to send one check for all registrations, so please send (fax/email) your registration form to Tansel Hudson no later than June 20, 2008, and he will forward to Laurie Blasky for payment processing to meet the deadline of July 1. Also, note that NRCS will not pay for Lift to mountain top and the White Water Rafting on July 15, 2008.

District Conservationists are authorized and encouraged to attend. Should other staff personnel request to attend the meeting then their supervisor needs to concur on Form FNM-035 and forward to Tansel Hudson for approval.
