Purpose. To distribute National Engineering Handbook (NEH), 210-VI, Part 654, NRCS Stream Restoration Design

Expiration Date. September 30, 2008.

Explanation. NEH-654, Stream Restoration Design Handbook, has been released and is available per National Bulletin 210-7-17. As the bulletin indicates, the handbook may be downloaded as separate files (74) from the eDirectives website, or it may be ordered as a CD (free) from Landcare by phone, email, or through their website. The handbook is not available as a printed document. This manual contains the assessment and design tools needed for stream restoration work and supplements NEH-653, Stream Corridor Restoration: Principles, Processes, and Practices”, which was more of a planning manual for stream restoration projects.
