Both require Regional Assistance Chief (RAC) approval and Deputy Chief for Management (DCM) signature.

  5. Background narrative supporting the purpose of the agreement

  11. Justification Statement from State Conservationist if non-competitive agreement
  12. Determination and Findings document for Interagency Agreements
  13. Completed Grant Review Questionnaire for RAC
08/04/2008 New Non-competitive Agreements ($100,000 or less)

Requires RAC approval.

  2. Funding programs and amounts
  3. Statutory Authorities
  4. Purpose of the agreement
  5. Background narrative supporting the purpose of the agreement or amendment
  6. Description of mutual benefits to be derived

  11. Justification Statement from State Conservationist for not competing the agreement
  12. Completed Grant Review Questionnaire for RAC
08/04/2008 Amendments to Existing Agreements (To add or reduce funds to existing agreements)

Requires RAC approval for additional funding.

  1. Agreement Number
  2. Purpose of amendment that includes new work or new tasks
  3. A statement that the additional work, if any, is within the scope or intent of the original agreement and why the work was not included in the original agreement
  4. Funding information including increase or decrease
  5. Status of cost sharing to date if cost sharing is required under the agreement
08/04/2008 New Task Orders

Issued against existing IDIQ contracts for A&E services or WRP Easement Surveys.

  1. Funding programs and amounts
  2. Statement of Work
  3. Location Maps
08/25/2008 Time Extensions for Existing Agreements (Amendments for time extensions only for existing agreements due to expire by 09/30/08. Extensions may not exceed 12 months.

* Note: Program Managers should review the Agreements Log that is located on the shared drive at: S:\\Service_Center\NRCS\Agreements\ AGREEMENTS-CONTRACTS LOG OPEN.xls

Expiration Date is displayed in Column I.

  3. New expiration date or period of time required to complete the project objectives
  4. Justification for the time extension
  5. Estimate of funds expected to remain unobligated on the original scheduled expiration date
  6. Status of cost sharing to date if cost sharing is required under the agreement
